BOOM! Senator Cotton Slams Russia Probe: The Only Potential Crimes We Know Have Happened Are Leaks (VIDEO)

Attorney General Jeff Sessions addressed the Senate Intelligence Committee on Tuesday.

Sessions told the committee that he any claims that he colluded with Russia in campaign is an “appalling and detestable lie.”

Senator Tom Cotton (R-AR) slammed the Russia probe as he listed the most recent leaks of classified information to the press calling them the ‘real potential crimes’ and asked Sessions if the leaks will be ‘prosecuted to the fullest extent of the law’.

Senator Cotton: “Let’s turn to the potential crimes that we know have happened–leaks of certain information. Here’s a short list of what I have–

The contents of alleged transcripts of conversations between Mr. Flynn and Mr. Kislyak.

The contents of President Trump’s phone calls of Australian and Mexican leaders.

The contents of Mr. Trump’s meetings with the Russian Foreign Minister and Ambassador.”

Senator Cotton went on to name more leaks then asked AG Sessions if the leaks are a threat to U.S. national security and if the Department of Justice will be investigating and prosecuting them to the fullest extent of the law.

Sessions responded by saying one person has already been arrested and denied bail in Georgia for leaking classified information to the press. Sessions also called the leaks ‘extraordinarily damaging to national security.’
