Self-proclaimed feminist and CNN analyst, Kirsten Powers said people don’t have the ‘right’ to be anonymous if they want to “spew their racist, misogynist, homophobic garbage”.
And who decides what is ‘racist, homophobic, and misogynistic’, Kirsten?
Should we have the thought police scanning the internet and punishing people for using their First Amendment rights? How about CNN out their so-called anonymous sources who litter the garbage pages of CNN’s Russian conspiracy theories?
In reference to the backlash that CNN is receiving over blackmailing a private citizen for posting an anti-CNN wrestling video, Kirsten Powers said that CNN used restraint by not releasing his identity because he apologized. What exactly did he apologize for?
CNN reported Tuesday that they declined to publicly identify the Reddit user who created the Trump CNN wrestling video because he promised not to do it again.
CNN reporter Andrew Kaczynski said of the anonymous Reddit user, “CNN reserves the right to publish his identity should any of that change.”
That is extortion.
They threatened to dox him.
Founder of Wikileaks, Julian Assange tweeted out, ‘CNN committed a crime, violating 135.60 of the New York criminal code.’
So CNN is allowed to use anonymous sources in their articles attacking President Trump with fake Russia conspiracy theories, but if a private citizen dare post something CNN deems ‘offensive’, they must be outed? Makes sense.

Remember guys, Ms. Powers is the expert on freedom of speech because she wrote a book about it!
Don’t lecture me on free speech. I wrote a book abt it. CNN cannot infringe on 1st amendment …only govt can https://t.co/hoSIAetv8I

Kirsten Powers got savaged by freedom loving Trump supporters:
“People do not have a ‘right’ to stay anonymous so they can spew their blasphemous, seditious, anti-monarchical garbage.”

Apparently Ms. Powers believes she has the moral authority to decide what qualifies as any of those things and can thought-police them well.

How does that 1st Amendment of the United States Constitution work again?

Okay. Who gets to be the Grand High Inquisitor who determines what’s legitimate and what isn’t?
Answer (in a free country): Nobody.

You’re no different than fascist @cnn. Speech you don’t like must be “exposed” = shutting up speech by the more powerful. Un-American.

Why do leftists hate free speech so much? Because leftists require suppression of dissent in order to succeed. #LeftistFascism

People like Kirsten here like to make up the laws and traditions of our land as they go along. It’s why the American people hate the media.

So the media should intimidate and coerce citizens and be the thought police? For shame Kirsten.
