Fox’s Kimberly Guilfoyle Confirmed to POTUS ‘Problem’ Reince Priebus is the Leaker

Chief of Staff Reince Priebus has long been accused of leaking White House inner workings to the press. Over dinner with President Trump, Fox News’ Kimberly Guilfoyle revealed ‘problem’ Reince Priebus was the administration’s leaker.

Mediaite reports:

The Five co-host was invited, along with her colleague Sean Hannity and former Fox News Executive Bill Shine, to the White House Wednesday night to dine with the president. And a report from The New York Times alleges that Guilfoyle told Trump that his Chief of Staff was ‘a problem’ and ‘a leaker’ during that dinner. According to an anonymous source who was briefed on their conversation, Guilfoyle also told the president that Priebus was “someone who was not serving his agenda.”

On Thursday night, Guilfoyle confirmed to her co-hosts on The Five that she did have dinner with the president. And while she refrained from going into detail about her conversations with Trump, she claimed that he was in a “very, very good mood” and was “enthused” about his agenda going forward.

Guilfoyle didn’t go after Priebus on-air, but she did say that “something needs to be done” regarding to the numerous White House shakeups.

Scaramucci, who has a colorful past with Priebus, recently dared the Chief of Staff to prove he isn’t the leaker, during an interview with CNN’s Chris Cuomo.

Washington Examiner reports:

“If Reince wants to explain that he’s not a leaker, let him do that,” Scaramucci said on CNN.

His comment came hours after Scaramucci tweeted that he was going to be contacting the FBI about the leak of his personal financial information, and ended his tweet “@Reince45.”

Some saw that as a sign that he thinks Priebus is a leaker who should be investigated. Scaramucci himself said soon after that tweet that he was not accusing the White House chief of staff, and on CNN, he said it was meant to indicate that he and Priebus have to work together to find the leakers.

“He’s responsible for understanding and uncovering and helping me do that inside the White House, which is why I put that tweet out last night,” he said.

News of Kimberly Guilfoyle pointing the finger at Priebus comes amid a potential watershed moment for the White House — Scaramucci presenting to President Trump a diagram outlining Priebus’ leaks.

The Washington Post, an anti-Trump paper that has reported several fallacious reports on the President this year, leaked another tip from a White House insider on Thursday.

According to the leaker, Communications Director Anthony Scaramucci will present a diagram to President Trump on Friday showing Reince Priebus’s leaks to the press.

This comes after another leaker released information on Wednesday about President Trump’s dinner with Sean Hannity, Anthony Scaramucci and former FOX News executive Bill Shine.
The Washington Post reported:

Scaramucci took over the communications job on Wednesday, even though he was not supposed to start until Aug. 15 — a move that a White House official said was designed to thwart any attempt by Priebus to derail Scaramucci yet again.

Scaramucci and his allies are compiling a diagram of the news organizations that they suspect received leaked information from Priebus, and they plan to present it to the president on Friday, according to a White House official who spoke on the condition of anonymity to discuss the secret plan of attack.

“If Reince wants to explain that he’s not a leaker, let him do that,” Scaramucci said in an interview with CNN early Thursday morning.

On Fox News that same morning, Kellyanne Conway, a counselor to the president, described the leaks that Scaramucci was ranting about as “people using the press to shiv each other in the ribs.”

As all of this was playing out, few came to Priebus’s defense. House Speaker Paul D. Ryan, a longtime friend and fellow Republican from Wisconsin, said at a news conference on Thursday that “Reince is doing a fantastic job at the White House, and I believe he has the president’s confidence.”

This isn’t the first time that Reince Priebus has been suspected of being a part of a source of leaking info to the press. TGP reported on the story of the Kate Walsh leaks with perhaps Priebus’ involvement back in February of this year.

TGP also reported back in early May that President Trump perhaps kept Priebus in the dark about his decision to fire Comey to prevent leaks.

And what do you know? No leaks!
