ADL-Linked Hack Blocks Public from Seeing Tweets after Gateway Pundit Report

Recent (until May) ADL Florida Chair and Morgan Stanley “wealth management advisor” Scott Notowitz has responded to The Gateway Pundit’s exposure of his July 1 tweet to @realDonaldTrump, which read: “How does it feel to be so hated? You obviously enjoy it!”

Notowitz’s response was to block the public from seeing his tweets.

Notowitz’s Twitter home page now reads: “This account’s Tweets are protected. Only confirmed followers have access to @noto40_scott’s Tweets and complete profile. Click the ‘Follow’ button to send a follow request.”

Notowitz’s move will make it a bit more challenging for President Donald J. Trump to respond online to the “How does it feel to be so hated?” query, given that, as of now, Notowitz’s is not one of the 46 Twitter accounts that POTUS follows. (Those 46 include @ericbolling, @GeraldoRivera, @garyplayer and @DiamondandSilk ‏ … but, admittedly disappointingly, not that of @gatewaypundit.)

Notowitz’s humorless response to the article in The Gateway Pundit is particularly curious, given that one might reasonably expect a response more along the lines of a scathing comeback or some sort of witty repartee along the lines of the utter brilliance of Molly Ivins, John Oliver or Kathy Griffin. After all, a rather lewinskying profile of Notowitz two years ago by a South Florida Sun-Sentinel reporter was titled “Humorous man serious about his role with ADL.”

The article included this example of Notowitz’s wit: “In 2013, Notowitz served as Florida chair for the ADL’s year-long centennial commemoration. He jokes: ‘I did such a good job, I think they’ll want me back for the next centennial celebration.'”

In addition, the kowtowing puff piece included the following passage:

His great sense of humor is one of Notowitz’s best qualities, according to Hava Holzhauer, the current executive director of ADL’s Florida region.

Holzhauer said: ‘This is very serious work and I take my job very seriously. However, Scott has a special way of lightening up the work we do without downplaying its importance.'”

Last week, the supposedly-anti-“hate” ADL ambushed The Gateway Pundit, among other President Trump-supporting individuals and organizations, by including the name of Lucien Wintrich, The Gateway Pundit’s White House correspondent, on its donations-from-leftist-bigots-driven fundraising effort to put targets on the backs of prominent Trump supporters. The ADL has as of yet not so much as retracted, much less apologized for and begun the process of settling damages related to, its despicable, dangerously-targeting-given-the-aftermath-of-James Hodgkinson’s-rampage “report.”

As reported here Tuesday:

One of the more powerful liberal propaganda houses, known as the “Anti-Defamation League”, published a murder hit list Tuesday on reported “Alt-Right” and “Alt-Lite” “extremists” in America.

Apparently the only qualifiers for “extremism” are patriotism, the belief in small government, and support for the current president (according to the left).

Make no mistake about it, the ADL posted this disgusting report as a hit on ALL Donald Trump supporters.

The report put a target on ALL Trump supporters — most notably the conservatives and some they brand as “Alt Right” and “Alt Light” activists mentioned in their report.

… Mike Cernovich led the Trump movement in the run-up to the 2016 election and broke numerous anti-Hillary stories.

Gavin McInnes leads the Proud Boys (a patriotic American fraternity) movement and is an extremely popular radio host at both Rebel Media and Compound Media.

Popular New Right reporter Jack Posobiec also made the list. He actually held a rally AGAINST political violence.

Lucian Wintrich is The Gateway Pundit’s White House Correspondent and made the list because of his skyrocketing popularity and charisma. Lucian is a popular campus speaker and media magnate, having been profiled in dozens of publications from The New Yorker and Hollywood Reporter to several papers internationally.

Lucian Wintrich is also an open gay conservative and the grandson of a Nazi occupation survivor. Lucian’s grandfather, a Jew, fled the Nazis in Poland and came to America penniless. Again – Lucian is the grandson of a Nazi occupation survivor – and yet the ADL is claiming that he is racist, anti-Semite and right-wing extremist.

The ADL, once known as the Anti-Defamation League, tends to present itself as the foremost arbiter of “hate,” with a current mission much more general (and, presumably, more financially lucrative, in part due to ongoing “No Place for Hate”®-Initiative presentations at public schools) than its original one.

According to Wikipedia, the organization formerly known as “the Anti-Defamation League of B’nai B’rith” was founded in October 1913 [in the aftermath of the Leo Frank Affair] by the Independent Order of B’nai B’rith, a Jewish service organization in the United States, its original mission statement was “to stop, by appeals to reason and conscience and, if necessary, by appeals to law, the defamation of the Jewish people.”

In keeping with the now-apparently-universalist goals of the ADL, its Twitter page’s current cover photo features six people, which include a female in a hijab, three people of African descent and no one identifiably — or even who looks minimally stereotypically — Jewish.

It is assumed that the taunting of President Trump is neither the official position of nor approved by Morgan Stanley, where Notowitz is a “wealth management advisor.
