POTUS SLAMS Deep State Criminals Over ILLEGAL WaPo-Sessions Story

President Trump took to Twitter Saturday morning, slamming the ‘illegal’ leak alleging Attorney General Jeff Sessions discussed campaign with Russian envoy Sergey Kislyak.

The Hill reports:

Russian Ambassador Sergey Kislyak recounted two such conversations with Sessions to his superiors in Moscow. Kislyak’s version of events was intercepted by U.S. spy agencies that monitor Russian communications, according to the Post.

The report does additional damage to allegations that Trump campaign officials colluded with Russian officials at a time when the Kremlin was seeking to influence the 2016 presidential election.

Trump pushed back on the source rather than the veracity of the Post’s report.

“These illegal leaks, like Comey’s, must stop!” he tweeted.

Trump called the paper “the Amazon Washington Post,” in a dig at the Post’s owner Amazon CEO Jeff Bezos. The Post is a favorite punching bag of the president’s.

As TGP previously reported, Attorney General Jeff Sessions addressed the Senate Intelligence Committee in June and make it crystal clear that he did not discuss campaign affairs with the Russian Ambassador.

Sessions told the committee that any claims that he colluded with Russia in campaign is an “appalling and detestable lie.”

Attorney General Sessions: Let me state this clearly, colleagues. I have never met with or had any conversation with any Russians or any foreign officials concerning any type of interference with any campaign or election in the United States. Furthermore, I have any known knowledge of any such conversations by anyone connected to the Trump campaign… The suggestion that I participated in any collusion, that I was aware of any collusion with the Russian government, to hurt this country that I have served with honor for 35 years or to undermine the integrity of our Democratic process is an appalling and detestable lie.
