BREAKING: Sebastian Gorka Resigns from the White House

Deputy Assistant to President Trump, Sebastian Gorka, has resigned from the White House.

The Federalist reports:

In a blunt resignation letter, the national security and counterterrorism expert expressed dissatisfaction with the current state of the Trump administration. “[G]iven recent events, it is clear to me that forces that do not support the MAGA promise are – for now – ascendant within the White House,” Gorka wrote. “As a result, the best and most effective way I can support you, Mr. President, is from outside the People’s House.”

Gorka’s letter expressed unhappiness with the direction the Trump administration’s foreign policy has taken, as signaled by the president’s recent speech on Afghanistan:

“Regrettably, outside of yourself, the individuals who most embodied and represented the policies that will ‘Make America Great Again,’ have been internally countered, systematically removed, or undermined in recent months. This was made patently obvious as I read the text of your speech on Afghanistan this week…

“The fact that those who drafted and approved the speech removed any mention of Radical Islam or radical Islamic terrorism proves that a crucial element of your presidential campaign has been lost…

“Just as worrying, when discussing our future actions in the region, the speech listed operational objectives without ever defining the strategic victory conditions we are fighting for. This omission should seriously disturb any national security professional, and any American who is unsatisfied with the last 16 years of disastrous policy decisions which have led to thousands of Americans killed and trillions of taxpayer dollars spent in ways that have not brought security or victory.”

Dr. Sebastian Gorka was fantastic at battling the mainstream media. As The Gateway Pundit previously reported, arguing with Gorka about the use of the phrase ‘radical Islamic terrorism’ is a bad idea — especially if you have little to no knowledge on the subject of Islamic terrorism.

White House official Dr. Sebastian Gorka humiliated MSNBC’s Ali Velshi and Stephanie Ruhle after the hosts lobbied paper-thin criticism over the term.

NTK Network reports:

“We will call it ‘radical Islamic terrorism,’” Gorka said. “We will target the ideology, and we will call them out for being evil.”

Velshi asked how it would help stop terror attacks if the White House called the problem “radical Islamic terrorism.”

“If you, God forbid, caught cancer, and the hospital was forbidden from calling it cancer and said, ‘You have the flu. Go home and hydrate and take some aspirins, would you actually have the right treatment?’” Gorka argued.

“No, but there’s still no cure for cancer,” Ruhle responded, smugly.

“Have you not heard of chemo?” Gorka asked, noting that would be the correct treatment for a cancer patient.

“I have heard of chemo, and cancer can still kill you. So it doesn’t matter what you call it,” Ruhle said, apparently thinking that doctors would prescribe chemotherapy for something they falsely diagnosed as a flu.

“It doesn’t matter what you call it, really? So if I call it ‘the flu’ and said, ‘Go home and take some aspirin,’ what’s going to happen to you?” Gorka responded.

Velshi then accused Gorka of not having a good answer.

“If you misdiagnose anything, whether it’s a serious disease or a serious international geopolitical threat, you will never solve it,” Gorka said.

Who could forget Gorka savaging CNN’s Anderson Cooper over fake news?

Anderson Cooper brought up the White House being in “bunker mentality” or “crisis” mode over Donald Jr.’s meeting with the Russian lawyer. Gorka began by saying it’s fake news and laughable.

Gorka: “We are pushing the Make America Great Again agenda. The president is a steam locomotive that will not be stopped. It’s just fake news. I’m sad to see CNN fall to this. I know you want salacious, sensational coverage for your ratings, so your corporate sponsors and owners will have more money. But that’s not media, that’s not reportage, it’s just fake news.”

“I’m just going to ignore the insults, because I don’t think it gets us anywhere,” Cooper replied.

“It is not about you,” Gorka said. “It is about actually having journalism back on TV. Where are the Walter Cronkites of yesteryear? This is just about ratings and money, it is really quite sad.”
