WOW! Fake News AP: ‘If North Korea Sent Missiles Towards US Should the US Shoot Them Down?’

U.S. intelligence officials have concluded North Korea has successfully produced a miniaturized nuclear warhead. The ‘Hermit Kingdom’ is officially a nuclear power.

Following President Trump’s warning North Korea over further provocations, the Hermit Kingdom has announced it is considering striking Guam.

The North Korean military warned it may carry out a “preemptive operation once the US shows signs of provocation”, and that it is “seriously considering a strategy to strike Guam with mid-to-long range missiles.”

On Tuesday, President Trump warned North Korea that the U.S. will meet them with “fire and fury” if they continue to threaten the United States. The President made this statement after it was revealed that North Korea successfully created a miniaturized nuclear weapon designed to fit inside its missiles.

The Associated Press ran a headline Thursday evening which read, “If North Korea sent missiles toward Guam or the US, could the US missile defense system shoot them down? Should it?”

Actually, no, AP. The United States should just let the missiles fly towards us and do nothing about it. What a brilliant idea.

AP writes:

With North Korea threatening to send a salvo of ballistic missiles close to a U.S. military hub in the Pacific, pressure could grow for Washington to put its multibillion-dollar missile defense system into use and shoot them out of the air before they can pose a real threat.

But should it? Could it?

That’s no easy call.

North Korea claims it is in the final stages of preparing a plan to launch four intermediate-range ballistic missiles over Japan and into waters just off the island of Guam, where about 7,000 U.S. troops are based.
