Lawrence O’Donnell, the far-left MSNBC host with a long-standing hatred of President Trump, was having a particularly bad night on On August 29, 2017.
In footage that was JUST leaked in the past hour, O’Donnell can be heard berating fellow MSNBC employees and progressively becomes more and more unhinged in the video clip which lasts a full eight minutes.
Shortly after introducing a clip involving President Donald Trump, O’Donnell poses for a moment before losing control.
“What’s going on, why am I losing this, why don’t I have sound?! Who’s asking for a Labor Day rundown in my ear?!” Moments later, he is breathily heard saying “God dammit,” before slamming his fists on his desk and glancing up in a horrific scene reminiscent of the Poltergeist movie.
As the clip goes on, O’Donnell grows more and more crazed, jumping from a man possessed to going on a monologue reminiscent of the 1988 classic “Scrooged”, where Bill Murray plays a “selfish, cynical T.V. executive is haunted by three spirits bearing lessons on Christmas Eve.”
“STOP THE HAMMERING UP THERE. WHO’S GOT A HAMMER? WHERE IS IT? WHERE’S THE HAMMER? GO UP ON THE OTHER FLOOR. SOMEBODY GO UP THERE AND STOP THE HAMMERING. STOP THE HAMMERING. I’LL GO DOWN TO THE GODDAMNED FLOOR MYSELF AND STOP IT, KEEP THE GODDAMNED COMMERCIAL BREAK GOING. CALL FUCKING PHIL GRIFFIN, I DON’T CARE WHO THE FUCK YOU HAVE TO CALL. STOP THE HAMMERING. EMPTY OUT THE GODDAMNED CONTROL ROOM AND FIND OUT WHERE THIS IS GOING ON.”
Since the incident, O’Donnell has not at the time of publication commented on the leaked footage.
