Social media was set ablaze after President Trump lashed out at NFL players protesting the national anthem on Friday while at a campaign rally for Senator Luther Strange (R-AL).
On Saturday the NFL Commissioner lectured President Trump — not the jackass players kneeling during the national anthem.
NFL Commissioner Roger Goodell attacked Trump saying the president’s comments show “an unfortunate lack of respect for the NFL.”
Donald Trump Jr. slammed Roger Goodell and it was glorious.
Don Jr. blasted Goodell on Twitter, “If only Roger Goodell cared as much about domestic abuse and traumatic brain injury as he does about disrespecting America. #nfl”

President Trump also hit back at Goodell:
“Roger Goodell of NFL just put out a statement trying to justify the total disrespect certain players show to our country.Tell them to stand! If NFL fans refuse to go to games until players stop disrespecting our Flag & Country, you will see change take place fast. Fire or suspend! …NFL attendance and ratings are WAY DOWN. Boring games yes, but many stay away because they love our country. League should back U.S.”
