Leaker Reality Winner Smuggled Classified NSA Report in Her Pantyhose

25-year-old Reality Leigh Winner, a federal contractor, was arrested in early June and charged for removing classified material from a government facility and mailing it to a news outlet.

Reality Winner was indicted by a federal grand jury on a single count.

In an explosive testimony shortly after her arrest, the former NSA federal contractor said she wanted to burn the White House down and pledged her allegiance to the Taliban.

On Wednesday, Reality Winner told FBI agents how she smuggled the NSA document out of the high-security intelligence facility–she stuffed it in her pantyhose. Was she channeling Sandy Berger?

In a transcript filed by federal prosecutors Wednesday, details were revealed how Reality Winner managed to leave the building with the document and why she decided to take it in the first place.

Politico reported:

After insisting for some time that she printed out the report and kept it on her desk for a few days before disposing of it in a burn bag, Winner caved and acknowledged she hid the document before sending it off to a news outlet, now known to be the Intercept.

“So how did you get it out of the office?” FBI agent Justin Garrick asked

“Folded it in half in my pantyhose,” Winner replied.

Winner appears to say she believed the contents of the report — which described Russian spearfishing cyberattacks aimed at U.S. voter registration databases — should be in the public debate.

“I saw the article and was like, I don’t understand why this isn’t a thing,” she said. “It made me very mad….I guess I just didn’t care about myself at that point….Yeah, I screwed up royally.”

“Did you know that if that got out, that those sources and methods could be compromised?” Garrick asked.

“If they hadn’t been already, then yes,” Winner said. “I figured that…that it didn’t matter anyway. Uhm, honestly, uh, I just figured that whatever we were using had already been compromised, and that this report was just going to be like a—one drop in the bucket.”

Reality Winner also told agents, “I wasn’t trying to be a Snowden or anything.”

Reality Winner is another casualty of the Russia hoax. She got so wound up over seeing a document that detailed Russian cyber-hacking attempts that she actually thought it was worth risking her freedom over to leak it to a news outlet.

Russians have always attempted to infiltrate our systems as do many other countries. This is nothing new, but the media narrative of ‘Russians under every bed’ have the left going crazy.
