William Dunbar, a 22-year-old National Guardsman from Berlin, Pennsylvania was arrested for threatening to assassinate Vice President Mike Pence. “If someone pays me enough money, I will kill the vice president,” dared Dunbar.

A 22-year-old National Guardsman from Pennsylvania was accused of threatening to kill Vice President Mike Pence, officials said.
William Dunbar, of Berlin, Pa., was on duty at the Army National Guard Training Center when he said, “If someone pays me enough money, I will kill the vice president,” Richland County cops said.
Witnesses said they alerted commanding officers after they heard Dunbar make the threat twice on Saturday.
He was charged with disorderly conduct and making terroristic threats, both misdemeanors.
Dunbar was taken to Conemaugh Memorial Medical Center for evaluation and then to county prison, where he was held on $250,000 bond, officials said.
During a recent trip to South America, Pence’s security detail reportedly brought women back to their hotel. Members of the security unit were promptly reassigned.

Speaking to NBC News, US officials said there was no immediate suggestion the women were sex workers.
It is the latest scandal to hit US security officials on assignment in Latin America: in 2015, Drug Enforcement Agency officers were caught attending orgies with prostitutes in Colombia and three years earlier, Secret Service personnel working there were found to have hired sex-workers.
NBC News said Pence’s staff became aware of the issue when they saw security footage of the men, all high-ranking members of the forces, bringing the women into the secure area.
The women were not registered when they were brought in but “there is no indication at this point that the women who were brought to the hotel were prostitutes,” according to officials cited in the report.
