CNN, Reporters Have Fits After President Trump Praises Fox News, Rips CNN

President Donald Trump praised Fox News while criticizing CNN in a tweet that brought forth a rebuke from CNN and a claim by a New York Times reporter that Trump has ‘declared Fox News state TV.’

Trump wrote Saturday evening, “[email protected] is MUCH more important in the United States than CNN, but outside of the U.S., CNN International is still a major source of (Fake) news, and they represent our Nation to the WORLD very poorly. The outside world does not see the truth from them!”

CNN Public Relations responded with a rebuke of Trump, “It’s not CNN’s job to represent the U.S to the world. That’s yours. Our job is to report the news. #FactsFirst 🍎” Yes, CNN included their apple not a banana emoji.

New York Times White House reporter Maggie Haberman got the vapors, melodramatically writing, “Going further than he already has to declare Fox News state TV. It’s been hard on the many who are solid, hard-working reporters there to deal with.”

CNN’s Ben Wedeman played the martyr, “At CNN international we shed blood to bring you the news. Nothing fake about that.”

Jake Tapper stood up for his colleagues, “Thinking about @cnni and my brave and hard-working colleagues there who cover famines and wars and politics and terrorism and everything else. Amazing men and women, thank you for your continued excellence.”

Not to be left out, James Comey, the fired-by-Trump former FBI Director, tweeted in his usual passive/aggressive historical quote style to attack Trump, ““Our liberty depends on the freedom of the press, and that cannot be limited without being lost.” – Thomas Jefferson, Jan. 28, 1786”

Flashback: As TGP reported, CNN posted deceptive video to embarrass President Trump on his state visit to Japan at the beginning of this month.

The deceptive video is still posted by CNN.

Fox News reported on CNN’s false attack on Trump.

President Trump and Japan’s Prime Minister Shinzo Abe carried on an old tradition of feeding carp at a Koi pond in Tokyo when CNN and the rest of the mainstream media decided to twist the narrative to make Trump appear like a buffoon.

Liberal network CNN ran a ridiculous headline, “Trump feeds fish, winds up pouring entire box of food into Koi pond,” complete with a misleading tweet from reporter Veronica Rocha that only shows the Trump dumping the entire box of food. Her footage is conveniently edited to skip Abe doing the same thing.

IN fact, Abe dumped his entire box of fish food into the pond and Trump followed while the Prime Minister of Japan smiled. However, the anti-Trump media has been cropping the video to only show Trump’s actions.”

Is it any wonder why President Trump feels the way he does about the news media?
