The bank for Fusion GPS gave the House Intelligence Committee dozens of the opposition research firm’s financial records on Friday, a federal judge said.
The exchange puts an end to a dramatic court fight over the Trump dossier firm’s bank records, which the House panel sought through a subpoena issued in October.
The Russia dossier is the root of the phony collusion investigation against President Trump which is why the fake news media is desperately trying to throw Papadopoulos under the bus.
Earlier Friday, two GOP Senators asked the DOJ to open a criminal investigation into the author of the Russian dossier, former British spy, Christopher Steele.
Senate Judiciary Chair Chuck Grassley (R-IA) and Senator Lindsey Graham (R-SC) sent a letter to Deputy AG Rod Rosenstein and FBI Director Christopher Wray Friday demanding they investigate if Christopher Steele lied to federal authorities.
Hillary Clinton previously claimed she didn’t know about the Russia dossier that her campaign actually paid for until after Buzzfeed published the 35-page document in January of 2017.
** In fact Hillary’s team lied for nearly a year about funding the anti-Trump dossier.
The documents contain explosive, but unverified, opposition research that alleges intel ties between Russia and Trump and also claims Russia holds sexual blackmail material over Trump.
The FBI most likely used this garbage dossier to obtain a FISA warrant to spy on Trump’s camp.
As previously reported, the bank records show that Fusion GPS paid journalists for work amid the Trump-Russia ‘collusion,’ hysteria.
The firm claims the journalists were paid to do work that was separate from the now discredited ‘Trump dossier.’
The journalists have not yet been identified.
God sure has a sense of humor. The Russia dossier that Hillary Clinton paid millions of dollars for may ultimately be the thing to bring down the entire Deep State.
