During an appearance on the Fox Business program this morning, Rep. Devin Nunes said that the FISA court cannot continue to exist if it is able to be weaponized by political parties against this opponents. This, of course, comes after the Democratic National Committee was able to plant the phony Steele Dossier with the FBI, and their media contacts, which eventually lead to the infamous Russia Investigation into Trump officials.
Mr. Nunes spoke firmly about the DNC’s weaponization of the FBI and FISA Courts: “We can’t have a secret court operate like this in America where they’re going to take and use it against political enemies. Where one political party can use it against another. It’s not going to work if that’s going to be the case.”
Rep. Devin Nunes authored the memo which went into similar detail about the corruption between the DNC and FBI which led to the #ReleaseTheMemo hashtag on Twitter and leaders across the country demanding its unsealing. Nunes went on to say that during the campaign for his memo’s release, Democrats began to leak information regarding approval for release:
“We know for sure there were several leaks. We think there’s about 100 leaks from their side that leaked out to the media. That’s roughly our count now,” Mr. Nunes said.
