WATCH: RSBN’s Margaret Howell Discuss How Media Matters & Tech Giants Collude To Defund and Censor Conservatives

The Social Media Neutrality Panel was held yesterday at the Newseum in Washington DC.

The panel included testimony from Jim Hoft of The Gateway PunditPamela Geller of The Geller ReportMargaret Howell of Rightside BroadcastingOleg Atbashian from The People’s Cube, tech entrepreneur Marlene Jaeckel. Topics all involved the current tech climate, social media bias, shadow banning and other methods meant to silence voices and limit readers and viewers access to information.

Margaret Howell currently heads Right Side Broadcasting Network as their DC bureau chief. She holds a masters degree in Legislative Politics from George Washington University’s Graduate School of Political  Management, and BA from GW University. She was correspondent for RT news, and moved to RT International, broadcasting in Moscow, Russia. She’s reported on suicide bombings in real time, state-sponsored terrorism, and the EU. Margaret joined Infowars, reporting for Alex Jones at the start of the 2016 election cycle.  Margaret currently lives in Washington DC.

Howell discussed how tech giants such as Facebook, Google, and Youtube seem to be taking direct orders from Media Matters to censor conservative voices. In multiple examples, she discusses how if you are branded as a conservative on social media, these companies will go as far as to remove live videos and videos with no actual political context because they want to prevent any potential message from getting through their gates.

In perhaps one of the most nonsensical and ludicrous cases of blind censorship, Howell discussed that even a video she recorded during the White House press briefing was censored by Youtube – coverage identical to what MSM is allowed to broadcast across all platforms.
