On the Fox Business Network Monday evening, former U.S. Attorney Joe diGenova called for Congress to impeach Deputy Attorney General and FBI Director Christopher Wray due to the out of control Russia probe.
As The Gateway Pundit previously reported, the FBI raided long-time Trump lawyer Michael Cohen. While not directly linked to the Russia probe, diGenova argued that if Mueller wasn’t appointed by Rosenstein, the raid wouldn’t have taken place.

DiGenova: “I think that the raid today on Mr. Cohen’s office was an act of bad faith by the special prosecutor even though he was not responsible for the raid. He caused it to occur through the Southern District of New York. I think these are what are called ‘in terrorem tactics.’ They are using the grand jury in a terroristic way in order to frighten people, to intimidate people and can try to influence the conduct of the president of the United States. I think what Mr. Mueller has done, under the guidance of Mr. Rosenstein and the assistance of FBI Director Wray is disgraceful. I think it is an embarrassment to the Department of Justice and the fact that they’re in embarrassed tells you something about these three people — Mueller, Wray and Rosenstein. It is clear to me now that Mueller, Wray and Rosenstein are anti-Trumpers. It is not a bad faith federal investigation. It is designed to embarrass the president and I believe they have determined that they want to take him down.
Referencing the out of control Russia probe, Dobbs then asked what Congress can do about a “rogue Justice Department and FBI, not meeting the constitutional, Congressional demands of oversight?”
DiGenova: “Right. It’s a no-brainer, they should hold Rosenstein and Wray in contempt of Congress, and if they don’t produce the documents, they should move to impeach both of them.”
