POTUS Trump Threatens to Cut Off Foreign Aid to Honduras as Defiant Caravan of Illegal Aliens Vows March to US Border

President Trump unleashed a tweetstorm Sunday morning which continued into Monday, warning Mexico about the ‘caravan’ army of over 1,200 illegal aliens from Central America marching their way through Mexico to the U.S. border where they will either seek asylum or illegally cross the border.

Monday evening, embedded Buzzfeed reporter, Adolfo Flores reported the Mexican immigration authorities said they are planning on disbanding the caravan of illegal aliens by Wednesday in Oaxaca.

However, later Monday evening, defiant caravan organizers vowed to march forward to the U.S. border and plan to cross over from Baja, California.

Tuesday morning, President Trump threatened to cut off foreign aid to Honduras and others if the caravan of illegals isn’t stopped.

Update Monday evening: Defiant caravan organizers plan to march ahead: Gina Garibo, an organizer with Pueblos Sin Fronteras, said the caravan was not over. They will continue to travel towards the US with asylum seekers.

“We will continue,” Garibo said. “We have to follow through with our promise.”

Buzzfeed reporter Adolfo Flores also tweeted: “At the end of the day these people have the right to ask for asylum,” Garibo said.

President Trump has not only been slamming our ridiculous immigration laws, he has been putting tremendous pressure on Mexico.

Congress must act quickly to get our immigration laws under control. Obama’s dangerous ‘catch and release’ policy caused asylum applications to explode.

On Sunday Trump threatened to stop Mexico’s cash cow:

Tuesday morning President Trump threatened to cut off foreign aid to Honduras and other countries assisting the army.

Many of the illegal migrants are from Honduras.

Trump tweeted: The big Caravan of People from Honduras, now coming across Mexico and heading to our “Weak Laws” Border, had better be stopped before it gets there. Cash cow NAFTA is in play, as is foreign aid to Honduras and the countries that allow this to happen. Congress MUST ACT NOW!

Secretary of Homeland Security Kirstjen Nielsen also spoke out on Twitter Monday afternoon about the illegal migrant caravan moving through Mexico to the United States. Nielsen said she is working with the Mexican government and is ‘exploring all options’.
