Radical socialist Rashida Tlaib made news this weekend after she was detained by police for blocking traffic during a sit-in protest at the Detroit Airport.
The protests were organized in Detroit and Minneapolis to complain about low wages and a lack of health insurance benefits for the catering crews working for Delta Air Lines.
Democrat-Socialist Tlaib wants to put the catering crews out of work by making their employment unaffordable.
Rashida supports Bernie.
Tlaib was detained during the protest after she sat in a road with eight other protesters.
Rashida Tlaib was detained but not processed by police for blocking traffic at the airport — which is a security threat.
CORRECTION: Rep. @RashidaTlaib was not processed as an arrest with the other protesting workers, but did participate in solidarity in the civil disobedience, including joining the protesters in the van as officers took them for processing.
