Over Thanksgiving, my leftist siblings were listening to me talk about the Ukraine. Before I could start my explanation on the uprising (you know that they did not have a clue about what was going on over there since they were still suffering from “post election stress disorder“) I saw that they were rolling their eyes wondering what “Dubya” had done now. I believe that John Podhoretz put it best in the New York Post today. It seems that our fight against terrorism is having some pleasing side benefits. Looks like Dubya, yes I admit it, Dubya may be responsible for the actions of the Ukrainians… and that freedom is arising, even in Kiev! (It appears, though, that Putin is not so pleased.)
