This ought to be great fun! Your tax dollars will be put to (good?) use this week when Boxer and Byrd will get their chance to spread their anti-war conspiracy theories and misconceptions against Condoleezza Rice for two of the democrats allotted 4 1/2 hours on the Senate floor:
Two Democratic opponents of the war, Sens. Robert C. Byrd of West Virginia and Barbara Boxer of California, have booked an hour each to speak, with eight other Democrats due to weigh in with briefer speeches.
I heard that the conservatives have their own Michael Moore. Well, I hope that he gets his tush down there and catches this dog and pony show all on film. It can only be great public relations for Republicans for years to come!
