There is a story from Kurdish blogger Kurdo about US soldiers shopping in Kurdistan. Apparently, some US soldiers tried to return a copier to a “supermarket” where they purchased it and when they were not given their money back, because it was after 30 days, they tore the safe at the store open and took some money. (I think I saw these same guys at WalMart the other day.) I hope that this is investigated and found not to be true. Stories like this are so damaging whether or not there is any basis of truth to them. It is extremely hard for me to imagine that this story is true with all of the systems in place in the military. The sad thing is that the lefties will run with a story like this whether there is any truth in it or not.
