The US says it is closing in on Abu Musab al-Zarqawi
Al-Qaida Terrorist Al-Zarqawi, the Iraqi Al-Qaida terrorist and follower of Osama Bin Laden from Jordan, is responsible for hundreds of deaths in Iraq.
Here’s a test… See if you can find the political slant for each of the following articles:
Bush slammed for Iraq link to 9/11
Nixon called Indira Gandhi an ‘old witch’
I know, that was easy! The titles gave it away!… And, that is not the only thing that is outrageous about each article. In reading each article they both make the case perfectly clear to never trust any liberal with national defense!
The first article over at CNN is just more spin, lies, distortion, and confusion:
Critics of the U.S. war in Iraq have condemned President George W. Bush for attempting to link the insurgency there with the September 11, 2001 attacks on New York and Washington.
In a televised address marking a year since the U.S. handover of sovereignty in Iraq, Bush urged Americans not to “forget the lessons of September 11.”
Speaking before a military audience at Fort Bragg, North Carolina Tuesday, the president set out his strategy for victory against the insurgency, including foreign groups such as that led by Abu Musab al-Zarqawi.
Spin- that Bush implied “Iraq is responsible for 9-11”
Lie- (this one is often repeated) that President Bush has said that Iraq was behind 9-11. By inferring the above over and over they are driving home the notion that Bush has actually said this.
Distortion- that Iraq has nothing to do with the War on Terror. Ask the next lib in your face if they have heard of Zarqawi or Al-Jayouzi (on trial right now in Jordan for attempting to explode chemical weapons, enough to kill 80,000 Jordanians and a follower of Al-Zarqawi and Bin Laden, trained in Afghanistan and stationed in Iraq)
Confusion- The liberals continue to proove that they have no concept of national defense.
The next article looks innocent enough if you use the name of ex-Republican President Richard “Nixon” interchangeably with “Beelzebub” on a frequent basis. But, the last line in the article is the real shocker:
…The documents, many declassified only earlier this month, generally cover old ground, several Cold War scholars said. Still, the particulars are intriguing, including rosters of who was in various meetings and quotes from conversations among Nixon, his aides and foreign leaders.
“They see everything through a Cold War prism,” said Bill Burr, a senior analyst at the National Security Archive at George Washington University. “It’s a wholly distorted view.”
Because in the eyes of Anne Gearen, AP writer, the Cold War was just a distortion! It was just a distorted view we had, that’s all! Never mind Pol Pot or Stalin (I use them here to bring emphasis to the millions murdered by their regimes, not in comparison to Gitmo) or any of the other murderous communist leaders!
I repeat- Never Trust a Liberal with National Defense!
