Hillary Spews Hate at Al Sharpton's MLK Church Service

Hillary Clinton goes berserk at the Harlem Democratic MLK Rally. The former First Lady screeches that the Bush Administration has a culture of corruption and will be looked as a failed presidency… Some pretty bold statements from the wife of an impeached and disbarred president.

In the spirit of Dr. Martin Luther King Jr., Former First Lady Hillary Clinton, viciously attacked the Bush Administration and described the GOP-controlled Congress as a “plantation”, at the Al Sharpton MLK Day celebration at the Canaan Baptist Church of Christ in Harlem.

And, it looks like most of the mainstream media missed the parts about political prisoners and Tawana Brawley!

It was a lovely church service up in Harlem on Monday, just lovely.

WOW! Al and Hillary actually made Al Gore sound reasonable on Monday at the Harlem Church gathering to Commemorate Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. Day:

“Candidate for governor Tom “Swazee”s” here,” said Rev. Sharpton, completely mangling the Nassau County Executive’s name. So Nassau county executive Tom Suozzi had his name mangled. Then he was called on the carpet.

Charged Bertha Lewis of the ACORN housing group: “Nassau County is the third most segregated county in this country and you sir are the county executive.”

But Attorney General Eliot Spitzer, who like Suozzi, wants to be governor, didn’t get off any easier. He was asked to support the reinstatement of Tawana Brawley lawyer Alton Maddox’s law license.

And there was this question:

“There are at least 12 political prisoners in New York State who were members of the black liberation army and the black party for 30 years… Are you open to reviewing their cases?”

There were tough questions to politicians who feel they must attend the event as much to pay homage to Sharpton as to celebrate Dr. King’s legacy.

Sen. Hillary Clinton, who had launched into an impassioned attack on the Bush administration.

“We have a culture of corruption, we have cronyism we have incompetence I predict to you that this administration will go down on history as one of the worst that has ever governed out country.”

Clinton actually got an easy question. “I need you to tell us what distinguishes Democrats from Republicans right now,” she was asked.

Clinton’s answer was provocative.

Said Clinton, “When you look at the way the House of Representatives has been run, it has been run like a plantation and you know what I’m talking about…”

You have to hand it to Hillary… Not many whites could use the “P” word in an all black congregation in Harlem and still walk out the doors. The charming former First Lady did, however, reach out to the victims of Bush from Hurricane Katrina:

Speaking during a Martin Luther King Jr. Day event, Clinton also offered an apology to a group of Hurricane Katrina survivors “on behalf of a government that left you behind, that turned its back on you.” Her remarks were met with thunderous applause by a mostly black audience at the Canaan Baptist Church of Christ in Harlem.

It was truly a lovely way to remember Dr. King. Just lovely!

** USA Today failed to mention the political prisoners and Tawana Brawley lawyer request as did most of the media. **

Meanwhile, President Bush paid tribute to Dr. Martin Luther King at the annual “Let Freedom Ring” event at the Kennedy Center. Laura Bush and Secretary of State Condoleezza Rice attended the inauguration ceremony of new Liberian President Ellen Johnson-Sirleaf, Africa’s first elected woman president, in Monrovia, Liberia.
