Iran says that a US army spy plane was shot down trying to cross the border! The regime representative said it is routine for the US to send in spy planes. Iran is mobilizing troops on the border with Iraq according to reports.
Fars News reports:

TEHRAN (Fars News Agency)- Iranian military troops have shot down a spy plane of the US army during the last few days, an Iranian MP said here on Tuesday.

Representative of Dasht-e Azadegan at the Islamic Consultative Assembly, Seyed Nezam Mola Hoveizeh also told FNA that the aircraft has been a spy drone of the US army and that it has been shot down when trying to cross the borders.

“Americans send such spy drones to the region every now and then,” the lawmaker further pointed out.

Last year the Washington Post leaked news that the US was flying drones over Iran.

Winston also is reporting that there is word coming from Iran that the Islamic Revolutionary Guards (IRGC) are mobilizing units across the country!

Kamangir has a visual of the drone and more on the troop movement at the border.

Maybe this story is related to the recent Iranian UFO sightings?
Who knows?

Update: (Wednesday) The US Navy is denying the claim by Iran.
