Iranian Human Rights Activist Banafsheh Zand-Bonazzi said today that the Statement by Iranian Foreign Minister Manouchehr Mottaki at the UN Security Council was a “Red Herring Speech”:
“He (Mottaki) basically practiced the same regular taqiyya which is the Islamic rule of lying and dissimulation in order to protect the regime and the autocratic rule. He basically said that the Iranian people agree with what the Iranian regime wants in this nuclear development.”
