Iranian Press Says Ahmadinejad Will Visit Ground Zero


As of Friday morning, Sept. 21, 2007, in the official Iranian Republic News Agency– the regime reported that Ahmadinejad still plans on visiting Ground Zero:

Iranian president Mahmoud Ahmadinejad is to visit the site of the World Trade Center in New York to pay homage to the victims of the September 11 terrorist attacks in 2001.

According to a source in the president’s office, the US authorities are expected to make arrangements for the president to pay tribute to the American nation and the innocent victims of the event.

The Iranian president is scheduled to leave for New York on Sunday to attend the general assembly of the United Nations.

That is the latest word from Tehran.
