Isn’t this the same “Harry Reid” who told our soldiers in Iraq that the war was lost?
Just wondering.

A couple of the better lines from Mark Mays to the whimpering defeatists:

“It would be unfair for me to assume (as you do) his statements were intended to personally indict combat soldiers simply because they didn’t share his own beliefs in regards to the War in Iraq… I do believe that he (Rush) along with every American has the right to voice his or her opinion in the manner they choose.”

But, thanks for writing Harry!
Now, how about quit blaming others for your abysmal performance?
And, quit getting your bogus attacks from Media Matters!

Senator John Kyl on the phony flap: “The only thing phony about this is the contrived controversy.”

MORE… HotAir has audio of Mark Levin ripping into democrats on the phony scandal.

And… Tom Maguire notes how The New York Times misreported the phony scandal that has the backing of 41 democrats.

UPDATE: Fred Thompson responds to the attacks on Rush:

Congressional Democrats are trying to divert attention from insulting our military leader in Iraq and pandering to the loony left by attacking Rush Limbaugh. He is one of the strongest supporters of our troops, yet Democrats claim he is not being strong enough. I wonder who General Petraeus and his troops think is most supportive?

I think we all know that answer.
