Finally, a Poster Shows the "Real Face" of Che Guevara
It’s Freedom Week at Young America’s Foundation.
Young America’s Foundation put this poster together to show the real face of Che Guevara. The poster is actually a collage of the hundreds of faces of those killed by Cuban communist regime.
Robert Stacy McCain at The Washington Times reported on the
One of the most famous faces of communism is getting a makeover this week, with a new poster designed to teach students the whole story about Cuban revolutionary icon Ernesto “Che” Guevara.
“The Victims of Che Guevera” poster, produced by the Young America’s Foundation, centers on a collage that uses tiny photos of those killed by Cuba’s communist regime to compose the face of the Marxist guerrilla, who has become a popular T-shirt icon.
“Che is one of the heroes that the left idolizes,” said Patrick X. Coyle, vice president of YAF. “But a lot of kids don’t know anything about him. We thought this would be a great way to highlight his atrocities.”
The occasion for the poster is Freedom Week, YAF’s annual commemoration of the fall of the Berlin Wall on Nov. 9, 1989, which has since become the most famous event symbolizing the collapse of Soviet communism.
Conservative students on more than 100 college and university campuses will participate in Freedom Week events, and YAF has printed 10,000 copies of the Guevara poster to dramatize the fact that communism “affected real individuals,” Mr. Coyle said.
Here is the must see video produced by Young America’s Foundation detailing the real results- murder and suffering- of the global socialist movement:
Unfortunately, this movement is very much alive today (See Venezuela) and is very much part of agenda on today’s campuses.
Great job by the Young America’s Foundation for their very worthy campaign.
This is Freedom Week at the Young America’s Foundation. Thousands of students from over 120 schools around the country are participating in Freedom Week, an initiative designed by Young America’s Foundation in 2003 to advance conservative ideas, honor America’s soldiers, and expose the Left’s antiquated ideology on their campuses.
Check out the schedule HERE.
And, HERE is a list of speakers and campuses that will be participating in Freedom Week.

UPDATE: Klein Verzet has more on the disturbing rise of the cultural marxist persuasion in Europe:
Yes, islamists are an irritant and jihadists have caused all manner of tragedy and grief. But in the end is it not the Gutmenschen of the cultural marxist persuasion that prevent us from mounting a defence? is it not they who tell us we must accomodate ever more immigrants from our Mediterranean neighbors? Is it not they who refuse to intervene when muslim youth make a nuisance of themselves, while clamping down on any native response? Is it not they who are ultimately responsible for selling us and our traditions out, using islam as their all-purpose excuse?
UPDATE 2: I plan on being at the Young America’s Foundation West Coast Leadership Conference this coming weekend.
