Musharraf Says Pakistan Comes First & Declares Emergency Rule

With extremism on the rise and suicide bombings in every major city, Pakistani President Musharraf declared emergency rule yesterday.
Musharraf said that terrorists were not afraid to go anywhere in the Pakistan today.
Here Musharraf explains his decision:

The national emergency may delay Pakistani elections for up to a year.

The Corner reported that violence was certainly picking up in Pakistan in the last few weeks although it was not getting much coverage.

The bombings that shattered former Prime Minister Benazir Bhutto’s return from exile killed over 136 Pakistanis in October.
