Huckabash

Rough day for Huck.

The Huckabee Rush-bashing incident is costing the Arkansas governor dearly.
Today Rush Limbaugh let him have it, via Jim Geraghty at The Campaign Spot:

“These people are coming after me personally, something I have not done. They’re coming after me personally the way the libs do.”

Rush, discussing how he differs from the NY-DC media axis, lists off Harriet Miers, Dubai Ports World, Republican spending abuses, illegal immigration…

On the argument that he secretly wants Hillary to win, to make him a bigger star: “I became a megastar long before the Clintons got into the White House.”

“I really am uncomfortable with this, I was hoping it wasn’t going to come to this.”

Michelle Malkin has much more on the Huck-up.
HotAir has the audio to Rush’s response to the Huckabee campaign.

And, Condi piles on…
The Secretary of State lashed out at the Huckabee campaign for criticizing the president for a “go it alone” foreign policy.
The Star-Telegram reported:

Secretary of State Condoleezza Rice stuck a toe in the presidential race Friday, taking strong issue after Republican Mike Huckabee accused the administration of having an “arrogant bunker mentality” on foreign policy.

“The idea that somehow this is a go-it-alone policy is just simply ludicrous,” she said, briefly weighing in on politics during a State Department news conference in Washington. “One would only have to be not observing the facts, let me say that, to say that this is now a go-it-alone foreign policy.”

UPDATE: Unlike the terrorist sympathizers, I agree with Huck that Gitmo is awfully nice.
