President George W. Bush reported this amazing news on the troop surge success during his State of the Union Address (notice Pelosi’s reaction in the video).
But, not so fast!
Reuter’s analyst Lawrence Korb from the liberal Center for American Progress says the security progress might really be causing big problems:
The Center for American Progress is a liberal American political policy research and advocacy organization. Its President and Chief Executive Officer is John Podesta, former chief of staff to former United States President Bill Clinton.
Reuters did not identify The Center for American Progress as a liberal organization during the segment.
