Sweetness and Light noticed today that the Obama Campaign erased Wright without an explanation.
Meanwhile… Obama’s church Trinity United Church of Christ lashed out at the media this Sunday after the media reported on its racist bent this past week:
Otis Moss II, the current pastor of Trinity United Church, used his pulpit to defend his congregation and its past minister, the Rev. Jeremiah Wright Jr., from a wave of controversy stemming from inflammatory statements made by Wright.
“We have listened and watched as the wonderful work of our church has been vilified this week,” he told about 3,000 congregants on Palm Sunday morning. “This week should be special for us because I guess we know a little something about crucifixion.”

Their presidential candidate may need those extra prayers.
Playing the victim card will probably not get them too far.
It was their pastor, after all, at their church who was making all of the racist deranged attacks on America.
Three months into his campaign for President of the United States on June 5, 2007 Senator Barack Obama introduced his pastor Jeremiah Wright at 93rd Annual Hampton University Ministers’ Conference. This was after he disinvited his pastor and mentor to his candidacy announcement.
Obama knew about the incendiary remarks by Wright after he decided to run for president but he still did not distance himself from the racist minister.
Instead, Obama said this about Jeremiah Wright:

So let’s get this straight. Obama condemns Wright’s statements but calls him a preeminent preacher who gave extraordinarily gifted sermons, goes on to explain why Wright is feeling so angry and couldn’t even say “I have no problem singing ‘God Bless America’.”
How could it be that a 20 year investment in this church didn’t give him a hint of this racist spirit flowing from the heart of the head pastor? Obama also said he has no intention of leaving the church…
