Report: Troopergate Investigation Finds No Smoking Gun But Says Palin Abused Power… Plus- Palin Speaks on Non-Scandal (Video)
Democratic state Senator Hollis French, the lead investigator in the smear campaign against Governor Palin, promised his party that the results of the Troopergate probe would be an “October surprise.”
He wasn’t lying.
** The Alaska panel reported that Palin abused power by firing insubordinate employee.
The investigator, Stephen Branchflower, found that Monegan’s refusal to fire Wooten “was not the sole reason” but was “likely a contributing factor” to his firing.
In other words– there was no violation.
Look for the media to smear Palin from now until November over this non-scandal.
Popular Alaska Governor Sarah Palin discussed the Troopergate non-scandal with Charlie Gibson during her interview with ABC News:
The findings to the report will be released tonight.
Already, FOX News is reporting that the Palin-hating loons will be disappointed.
Again… Here is a review on the politically charged non-scandal:
Democratic state Senator Hollis French, the lead investigator in the smear campaign against Governor Palin, promised his party that the results of the Troopergate probe would be an “October surprise” that would “likely be damaging to the administration.”
French is one of the 20%’ers in Alaska who does not approve of Governor Sarah Palin.
He also is a staunch Obama supporter:
Hollis French (fifth from left) and fellow Troopergate hack Kim Elton (on left with beard) who has donated to the Obama Campaign sit on the panel investigating popular governor Sarah Palin.
Related… Although Governo Sarah Palin continues to hold approval ratings from 68-80% in Alaska, Americans understand that the US media has been brutal on the popular governor. A new poll shows that while viewers mostly say the press has been fair to Democratic VP candidate Joe Biden (66%), Barack Obama (60%) and John McCain (also 60%), only 38% say the media have been fair to Palin.
UPDATE: (7:10 PM CST) The Alaska Legislative Council just voted 12-0 to release the report.
UPDATE 1: The Anchorage Daily reported that the investigation found that Palin abused powerby firing an insubordinate employee(?)
