IDF Spokesman Capt. Benjamin Rutland reported on Tuesday that Hamas as cynically using a United Nations school as shelter while firing mortar bombs at Israeli soldiers, thus endangering Palestinian civilians:
Gaza residents later confirmed that Hamas terrorists were indeed shooting rockets into Israel from the UN School.

Two residents say a group of militants had fired their mortars from a street near the school, then fled into a crowd of people in the streets. The Israeli army says two of the dead were militants. It accuses Gaza’s Hamas rulers of “cynically” using civilians as human shields.
