Um, Obama defends his, Er-uh, record against the, uh, accusations that he, uh-uh, is a raging socialist.
Joshua Pundit discovered Obama’s call back to reporters after brewing about being called a socialist by the pro-Obama press:

Of course, Obama’s defense of his socailist record was weak and dishonest.
Obama said:
“It wasn’t on my watch. And it wasn’t on my watch that we passed a massive new entitlement -– the prescription drug plan — without a source of funding. And so I think it’s important just to note when you start hearing folks throw these words around that we’ve actually been operating in a way that has been entirely consistent with free-market principles and that some of the same folks who are throwing the word ‘socialist’ around can’t say the same.”
This may be news to Barack Obama but Bush reduced the deficit 4 out of 8 years despite 9-11, Hurricane Katrina, two wars, and a recession he inherited.
Considering Obama has managed to triple the deficit and tank the stock market in his first 40 days in office, it might do him some good to study what Bush did right.
Obama will quadruple the deficit this year and his budget more than doubles the national debt held by the public, and adds more to the debt than all previous presidents — from George Washington to George W. Bush — combined.
Hope and change.
UPDATE: Obama says he is not a socialist… But, he did campaign for one– Senator Sanders.
