Here’s the latest lie from the Senate Majority leader:
Harry Reid is upset that Republicans won’t vote for the financial takeover reform bill that Wall Street wants, so today he was out telling reporters that, “Republicans are making love to Wall Street.”
Harry forgot to mention that Barack Obama met with Golman Sachs brass four times at the White House this last year, Barack Obama received $994,795 in donations from Goldman’s employees and their relatives in 2008,
Wall Street contributed $10.6 million to U.S. Senators in 2009, with a staggering $1.65 million going to Chuck Schumer, D-NY, alone. $7.7 million of the total contributions went to Democratic senators.
