Texas gets it.
Despite the noise this past month by the democratic-media complex and its lunatic environmental branch, most Texans still support offshore drilling.
Rasmussen reported:
Despite the recent oil spill in the Gulf of Mexico, 65% of Likely Voters in Texas still support offshore oil drilling, according to a new Rasmussen Reports telephone survey in the state. Twenty-one percent (21%) oppose such drilling.

These numbers are down somewhat since the Deepwater Horizon spill began, bringing them in line with the national average. A month ago, 77% of Texans supported offshore oil drilling.
Nationally, 64% believe offshore oil drilling should be allowed, down from 72% just after President Obama’s announcement at the end of March that he was lifting the ban on offshore drilling for the first time in years. But that marked the highest level of support ever in Rasmussen Reports polling.
Meanwhile… The anti-American environmentalists are now targeting Alaska oil production. They will not be satisfied until Americans live in mudhuts and are ruled by some brutal homophobic, sexist, and racist foreign regime.
But, not everyone agrees with these loons.
At least two-thirds of the country still believes in American independence, heated homes, driving cars and eating cooked food.
