In case you haven’t noticed the democrat-media complex is already in a full frontal assault on the Republican Party and GOP presidential candidates.
Today CBS questioned Mitt Romney for claiming that Obama made the recession worse.
Days after denying he had made the inaccurate charge in the past, former Massachusetts Governor Mitt Romney on Monday again said President Obama has made the recession worse.
“Our president has failed us. The recession is deeper because of our president,” Romney told a cheering audience after shaking hands at a July 4th parade, adding, “it has seen an anemic recovery because of our president.”
The economy was contracting as Mr. Obama took office in January 2009. It is now growing slowly.
“He made the recession worse and the recovery more anemic,” Romney told reporters.
Romney was right…
A recent report shows that real GDP has risen 0.8% over the 13 quarters since the recession began, compared to an average increase of 9.9% in past recoveries.

Team Obama promised that US GDP growth would be 4.0% in 2011. The Fed announced last week that they see GDP at 2.7% to 2.9% this year.
The unemployment rate has nearly doubled since the Bush years, the deficit has tripled.
Recent data confirms that the Obama-Pelosi $787 billion stimulus plan did not lift the US out of a depression.

And then there’s this… Barack Obama has now been president for more than 29 months, yet in none of those months has a majority of Americans believed the nation’s economy is getting better rather than worse.
Romney is right. Obama’s presidency has been an absolute failure.
