Iranian Regime: #OWS Movement “Undoubtedly Inspired” By Ahmadinejad’s Words

A top Iranian official told reporters today that the Occupy Wall Street Movement was “undoubtedly inspired” by Ahmadenijad’s speeches in New York City.
The Islamic Republic News Agency reported:

IRNA chief Ali-Akbar Javanfekr said the “Wall Street” movement, which has made American administration concerned, is undoubtedly inspired by the illuminating remarks of the Iranian President Mahmoud Ahmadinejad made during his New York visits.

Speaking in a news conference here Monday, he referred to the impressive presence of the Iranian president in international events and his interviews with American press and media.

He said Ahmadinejad criticized the imperialistic system of the West and the US using their own press and media and thus landed them in a difficult situation.

Javanfekr who is also presidential advisor for press affairs further commented on the current world political situation and said enemies are presently suffering from adverse situation while Iran’s power has been steadily growing thanks to its revolutionary views.
