St. Louis Mayor Francis Slay and Democrats held a gun control rally in downtown St. Louis Saturday afternoon.
Only about 150 people turned out for the event.
During the rally, Dr. Robert Flood, director of pediatric emergency at Saint Louis University Hospital, gave a controversial speech. The ER doctor urged supporters to call Congress and urge them to turn US rights and sovereignty over to United Nations by supporting the Child Rights Act.
Mayor Slay did not want to discuss this after the rally.
He fled when conservative Stacy Washington confronted him on controversy.
