Hobby Lobby won an injunction against Barack Obama’s HHS abortion mandate today. The Obama administration was set to punish Hobby Lobby with a $1.3 million daily fine for not covering abortion pills for their employees. The Supreme Court shut that down. Today a federal court granted Hobby Lobby a preliminary injunction against the HHS mandate.
The Alliance Defending Freedom reported:

The following quote may be attributed to Alliance Defending Freedom Senior Legal Counsel Matt Bowman regarding a federal court’s decision Friday to grant Hobby Lobby, represented by the Becket Fund for Religious Liberty, a preliminary injunction against the HHS abortion pill mandate:

“Every American, including family business owners, should be free to live and do business according to their faith. We commend the court’s ruling which is a victory for religious freedom and freedom of conscience. The Obama administration claims ‘unwavering’ support for religious freedom, but the only thing unwavering is the administration’s tenacious opposition to that freedom.”
