Al-Qaeda leader Ayman al-Zawahri lashed out Barack Obama and the United States over its drone campaign in an audio message last week.

Zawahri (Zawahiri) warned Barack Obama, “You are leaving a legacy of hatred and demands for vengeance over your crimes.”
Yemen Post reported:

In an audio recording uploaded this Wednesday, infamous al-Qaeda leader Ayman al-Zawahri slammed the United State of America for the inhuman treatment of its terror prisoners held in Guantanamo Bay penitentiary.

Following a protracted hunger strike aimed at raising awareness on inmates’ living conditions and human rights violation, several prisoners have been subjected to force-feeding sessions, something rights groups and the medical profession have decried as morally questionable and reprehensive given the level.

“The (hunger) strike by our brothers at Guantanamo unmasks the true ugly face of (the United States of) America … We pledge to God that we will spare no effort to free all our prisoners, on top of whom are Omar Abdel Rahman, Aafia Siddiqui, Khaled Sheikh Mohammed and every oppressed Muslim everywhere …,” Zawahri stated, referring to notorious terror prisoners held by the US.

Zawahri warned his group would arrange for the prisoners’ release.

Moreover, the al-Qaeda leader defiantly state that America’s drone campaign in Yemen, Afghanistan and Pakistan is proof it is losing its grip on the Middle East and the growth of the al-Qaeda movement across the region.

Such rhetoric has often been adopted by terror militants whereby they suggest that unable to reign down on the rise of al-Qaeda, Washington had to resort to mass killings through its drone to perpetuate a false sense of control.

“These spying planes will not protect you from defeat, but rather are a sign of your failure and the repeated failure of your government,” Zawahri noted directly addressing US President Barack Obama.

“You are leaving a legacy of hatred and demands for vengeance from you over your crimes,” he added.

The US evacuated its embassy in Yemen this week.
