Libyan Prime Minister, Ali Zeidan was reportedly kidnapped by armed rebels from his hotel room in Tripoli. The kidnapping occurred shortly after U.S officials ousted the Libyan government stating the Libyan government approved the two raids by American forces last week. The story is still developing.
CNN reported:
Armed rebels escorted Libyan Prime Minister Ali Zidan from a hotel in Tripoli to an undisclosed location early Thursday, a witness at the hotel said.
The gunmen made their way into the hotel in a convoy of cars.
CNN called the prime minister’s secretary and his chief of security. Both hung up the phone without commenting.
