Earlier tonight James O’Keefe’s Project Veritas released video tonight showing an Obamacare navigator, Christopher Tarango, conspiring to release private data for political purposes.
Fox4 in Dallas reported:
Here’s more from the FOX 4 Dallas report:
The same actor from the first two videos, Dallas native Lawrence Jones, is in the third. This time, he’s posing a representative of a Democratic political action committee
He’s meeting in Austin with Christopher Tarango, the communications director for Enroll America.
The undercover video was shot Nov. 8 at an Austin coffee shop.
Jones offers to buy a list, at an unspecified price, of people’s personal information obtained by Enroll America during events to sign people up for health insurance under the Affordable Care Act.
The snag: Enroll America is a non-profit and tax-exempt, and therefore, cannot be involved in partisan politics.
Tarango seems reluctant and says he can’t access the list; then, he suggests running it by a higher up.
“I know him well enough that, to feel like if we had a few beers, this would not be the craziest conversation that he’s ever heard,” says Tarango.
Tarango also admits he’s very involved.
“I’m the kind of person that has my hand in all the different pies,” he says.
As it turns out, Tarango helped get President Obama elected.
“I’m going Enroll America right now, but I’m also, I shouldn’t be saying this, but I’m also helping out with HD 50, so that’s as partisan as it gets,” he says. “There’s a lot of talent that got sucked into Organizing for Action. I mean, there’s a lot of talent that got sucked into Enroll America, but we are all Obama people.“
Christopher Tarango has quite a history.
He was the OFA-El Paso Regional Field Director in 2012.
In fact, Tarango is mentioned on Obama’s official Organizing for Action website.
Christopher Tarango was a top OFA official.
Now he’s working for Enroll America – and he’s willing to release private data for political purposes.
It makes you wonder… How many more Christopher Tarango’s are there out there?
