The FBI is investigating a camera-carrying DJI Phantom Two Quadcopter drone crashed on the balcony of the 30th floor of the Metropolitan Square Building in St. Louis.
KMOV reported:

FOX2 Now reported:

The FBI is assisting St. Louis police who are investigating the crash of a camera-carrying drone into a downtown skyscraper Monday.

There’s no indication anyone has come forward to claim the pilot-less aircraft.

It crashed into the 30th floor balcony of the Metropolitan Square Building on Broadway.

The federal aviation administration does not allow most commercial use of drones and restricts hobbyists to fly them below 400 feet.

But more regulations are due next year.
