SECOND US ISIS FIGHTER Killed in Syria This Week – Minnesota Father of NINE (Video)

A second American turned ISIS terrorist was killed in the same Syrian shootout where a California man died last weekend.

UPDATE: The ISIS fighter was from the Minneapolis Somali community.

According to Fox 9 sources, Abdiraaman Muhumed — who was the focus of an MPR story just two months ago — died in the same battle as Douglas McCain, a former Robbinsdale-Cooper High School student.

What a good father.

The Britain-based Syrian Observatory for Human Rights reported Monday that an “American suicide bomber” with ISIS had been killed in battles with the Islamic Front in Marea, Idlib province.
NBC News reported:

The State Department is investigating reports that a second American jihadist was killed last weekend in Syria fighting for ISIS.

The news comes a day after NBC News first reported that Douglas McAuthur McCain, a U.S. citizen, died fighting for the Islamic militants. A Free Syrian Army source told NBC News said the second American was killed in the same battle.

A law enforcement official told NBC News that “it appears to be true” a second American died in the fighting.

McCain, 33, grew up in Minnesota and lived in San Diego. Two opposition groups in the Syrian civil war were fighting in the weekend battle, with heavy casualties on both sides.

This would not be the first American ISIS suicide bomber.

The State Department confirmed in May that a U.S. citizen from Florida launched a suicide bombing against Syrian government troops earlier this year. Moner Mohammad Abusalha of South Florida was identified as the alleged suicide bomber in Syria, according to the New York Times. Abusalha was from Ft. Pierce, Florida but traveled to Syria late last year with a group of Americans.
