On Thursday Senator Mary Landrieu (D-LA) told Chuck Todd that the reason Barack Obama is unpopular in Louisiana because the state is full of racists and sexists.
On Sunday Stephanie Cutter, the former Deputy Obama Campaign Manager for Barack Obama’s 2012 reelection, defended the remarks by agreeing with Senator Landrieu.
“I also think she was speaking the truth. African Americans have had it harder in the South. That’s the American history.”
Cutter was on with Wolf Blitzer today when she hurled the racist smear against Southerners.
