This week Rams guard Davin Joseph wrote on his shoe – “I Can’t Breathe”

FOX 2 reported:

Rams guard Davin Joseph has written a message on his cleats to support those protesting against police brutality. He left the message, “I can’t breathe” on the side of his shoes. This is the same phrase that Eric Garner uttered before he diedin a choke-hold from a police officer. Joseph sent the message through a picture posted to Twitter that said, “R.I.P Eric Garner.”

This comes one week after several Rams players took to the field with their hands up.The gesture was in solidarity with protesters marching against the grand jury’s decision in the Michael Brown case.

The St. Louis Rams are playing the Washington Redskins Sunday afternoon.

Rams fans can’t breathe, either.
