At Least 40,000 Attend PEGIDA Anti-Terror March in Dresden, Germany!
Patriotic Europeans Against the Islamization of the West (PEGIDA) held their weekly rally today in Dresden. Last week 18,000 Germans turned out at the rally.
Today, at least 40,000 attended the weekly rally following the terrorist attacks in Paris.
CNN reported:
This is the 12th march in Dresden called by the protest group Patriotic Europeans against the Islamization of the West, or PEGIDA, since October. Dresden police say the number of people attending these rallies has increased from an estimated 350 protesters on October 20 to 18,000 on January 5.
The leaders asked marchers to wear black armbands and observe a minute’s silence for “the victims of terrorism in Paris”.
The German government pleaded with protest organizers to abandon their weekly rallies.
It didn’t work.
