The liberal media is already attacking Republican Senator Joni Ernst (R-IA) before her response tonight to Barack Obama’s State of the Union tax plan.
Ernst is the first woman elected to federal office from Iowa and the only female Iraq War combat veteran serving in the US senate.
Democratic strategist Bob Shrum joked on MSNBC that maybe Army Lt. Col. Ernst will castrate pigs on camera.
“She became famous during the campaign for castrating pigs as a young lady. Maybe she can do it on camera. It would at least be weirdly interesting.”
NBC News reporter Luke Russert made fun of her farming background.
